Over the past couple of years, Eva Weel Skram has taken the step up to become one of Norway’s most popular artists.

Writing music in her native Sogndal dialect, the highlights from recent years are many. "Selmas sang" was written as the theme song for NRK's advent calendar TV-show “Snøfall (transl. Snowfall)”, and the song is today one of the most popular Christmas songs in the country.

Eva's performance of the beautiful song "Berre la meg vær" on NRK show “Lindmo” was gripping and personal, hitting both the host and viewers right in the heart. The song was featured on her album “Finne Heim” which was released in September of 2018 and also included hit singles “Om du vil” and “Tru” featuring Odd Nordstoga.

Countless festival gigs and tours have opened the eyes of audiences across the country, and the crowd keeps coming back for more. Eva’s list of hit singles keeps getting longer and longer and it's clear that she has struck a nerve with her ever-growing audience around the country.

Her 2019 single “Falle til ro” was written for the Netflix original series “Home For Christmas”, went number one on radio and reached a global audience.

In the beginning of February 2021, Eva released her latest album “Sleppe tak”. The new album consists of ten very powerful songs, each with its own worked through expression and personal story. Some of the songs have already been released and managed to gain a foothold with Skram's ever larger audience across the country.
