Ida Celine
Through humorous sketches and beautiful singing, Ida Celine has created her own universe within TikTok with over 160,000 followers and 10 million likes. Now she is ready to take a step further and follow her dream towards a career in music. The 25-year-old from Skien has been involved in music and theater all her life.
“Dad has been involved in music and theater since I was born, so I grew up at Skien Revytheater and have probably been well influenced by him on that front. It's also something I do with my dad to this day "
She was usually the first to sign up for talent shows and other local events, and eventually she became known as 'the one who always sings MGP junior songs at school graduations'. In February 2019, Ida Celine downloaded the popular app TikTok. After three weeks of scrolling, she decided to post a video.
"When I look back at the first videos I posted, they are a complete disaster. I posted such super short videos where I lip-synced to Tiktok-sounds. I had not realized what TikTok really was, and did not know that I could make videos where I actually could talk. It took me up to three months before I found out how the app really worked”.
With several projects in the making, 2022 is looking to be a very exciting year for Ida Celine!
